Staggered
arrangement for round holes. Note that the holes are staggered
on 60° angles which makes the bridges the same width. This
provides maximum strength and uniform wear. |
 |
Straight
arrangement. It is not generally used for screening purposes except
for very small holes, but is sometimes preferred for other reasons.
This arrangement is also referred to as "on the square." |
 |
Diagonal
arrangement for round holes. For screening purposes it is not
as efficient as the staggered arrangement shown above because
the bridges are not of uniform width. |
